History:

Flight 852 started in 1993 under the name SNA, as an alternative place for English speaking teenagers in Hong Kong to go on the weekend. Founded on biblical principles, F852 is a place where youth can go and learn more about life, and also learn how God is relevant to them today. We encourage youth to express individuality and give them a freedom to just 'be themselves'. We love music and we have a youth band that plays every Friday. Drama, games, and teaching are all part of our Friday night line-up.

F852 is run by a leadership team, which is headed up by Matthew and Megan Snelgrove. Please know that as leaders we are here to serve you, and we want to get to know you better. Also, you should know that you can talk to us about ANYTHING... nothing is too big and nothing is too small. We’re here to listen and to help – basically we’re here for you!

You might have heard people saying things about F852 before, such as they’re a cult, or, they brainwashed poor old billy joe and now he’s no fun! Let me be the first to tell you that this is simply not the truth. F852 is most definitely not a cult, and everything that we teach is straight from the bible (the number 1 best-selling book ever!). There are millions of Christians and churches around the world that believe in the same things we teach at F852. We must also make it clear that we are not out to brainwash anybody, and we are definitely ALL about having fun... I guess it just depends on what your definition of fun is! We are not in the business of forcing people to do anything, but rather, we’re here to point you in the right direction. Hopefully we can help answer your questions about God and life.

F852 is open to anyone (Christian or non-Christian) who is aged between 13-18yrs. If you are on a journey to find yourself and to find God, then we would like to help you on that journey. Now that you have been to F852, you don’t need an invitation to come back – we hope that you will come again.
